Maternal and Child Health: Medical Examinations and Immunizations for Women, Infants and Children. Services include WIC nutrition education and additional food stamps. There is a fee for the administration of the vaccination. Recipients of Medicaid / All Kids are not charged. To make an appointment or for more information, call 647-1134 (ext. 254). Health Vaccination Adult: Various vaccines are available. There is a fee for the administration of the vaccination. Medicaid cards are accepted. To make an appointment or for more information, call 647-1134 (ext. 254).

Blood Lead Testing: Blood lead screening is available for children ages one to six years. The fees are based on income. To make an appointment or for more information, call 647-1134 (ext. 254). For Astoria appointments, call 329-2922.

Family Planning: Confidential family planning services are available by appointment at the Canton office for families and men of childbearing age. Services provided include physical exams, pap smears, badually transmitted disease tests, contraceptive methods, pregnancy tests, education and counseling. Services are accessible to people of all income levels. Fees are based on a declining scale with services provided free of charge to many clients. Medicaid and Illinois Healthy Women cards are accepted. Appointments are available after hours. Pregnancy test: Confidential pregnancy tests are available in the offices of Canton and Astoria. This service is available to women of all income levels. Nominal fees are charged. No appointment is necessary. A first morning urine sample should be collected for optimal testing and presented to the health unit. Services are provided without an appointment the following days, every week:

Township: Every Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 am to 3:30 pm (for more information, call 647-1134, ext. 244)

Astoria: Every Wednesday from 9h to 22h30 (for more information, call 329-2922)

Women's Health: A women's clinic for Pap tests, clinical bad exams and badl exams is available by appointment. There is a small fee for this service. Medicaid cards are accepted. Financial badistance is available for a mammogram. Cardiovascular screenings may be available for eligible women depending on age and income. Men's Health: Blood tests with prostate specific antigen (PSA) are available for a fee. To make an appointment or for more information, call 647-1134 (ext. 224).

Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic (STD): Confidential STD and HIV testing services are available by appointment for men and women at the Canton office. Services include physical examinations to identify STDs, a variety of STD tests, HIV testing, education, counseling, medication and condoms. There is a small fee for services. Health Watch Wellness Program: Health Watch is an adult wellness screening service. Screenings include total HDL-cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides, PSA screening for the prostate, screening for diabetes in the blood and screening for diabetes and colon screening. There is a charge.
