After storming the nation with just a wink, Priya Prakash Varrier's first movie Oru Adaar Love finally released last weekend in the theaters of the region. And the public could see his famous wink on the big screen. However, this turned out to be an anti-climax for producers since the film received largely negative reviews from film critics across India. But thanks to the popularity of Priya Prakash Varrier, the film had a good opening weekend at the Kochi box office.

According to a report by Filmibeat, the film was launched on a high note through Kochi's multiplexes. The occupancy rate on the first day was 80%, which allowed the film to win 2,000 rupees. On day 2, however, the collections plunged with a lower occupancy rate. Day 3, Oru Adaar Love made 1.59 lakh Rs with a occupancy rate of 44% and at day 4 the collection was 1.60 lakh with a occupancy rate of 52%.

The film has so far collected 7.48 lakhs of Rs during its opening weekend of 4 days at the box office. Please note that the collections come only from multiplexes in Kochi. All Indian collections still have to be revealed.

ZoomTV.com has rated Oru Adaar Love 2 stars and wrote in its review: "The film does not do justice to the title but you can watch it to remind you of your days in high school and your first crush romances, I would still prefer watch Trisha Krishnan-Vijay Sethupathi 96. "
