Duggar and Dillard left 'Counting On'. in 2017
When 19 children and count was canceled due to the bad abuse scandal committed by Josh Duggar, TLC relaunched the series to focus on the girls. Counting on Duggar and Dillard were part of the main cast. However, in 2017, Dillard made harsh comments on other TLC stars, including transgender star Jazz Jennings and openly gay stars Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. TLC did not agree with what Dillard had said, so they would have kicked him out of the show. However, Dillard said that he had left the show on his own terms and taken his family off the set, too.
The couple announced that they had just built a new house
Duggar recently posted an announcement on Instagram to announce that she and Dillard had just built a new home. The couple posted photos of the house on their blog. it seems to be a brick ranch with lots of upscale upgrades. The house is in Lowell, Arkansas, which is closer to the Duggar family than the one they used to live in. Although Arkansas is not an expensive place to own a home, its construction still cost a few thousand dollars. And although Duggar thought the fans would be incredibly happy for her, there were some harsh comments.
The fans soon wondered where the two had had the money for the house – but the negative comments seem to have disappeared
When Duggar posted the ad on Instagram, some fans
almost could not even believe what they were reading. People started immediately
to question How
the couple had enough money to build a house; Duggar does not work, and
Dillard attends full-time law school and therefore does not have a full-time job.
It is possible that their family helps them build the house, but since then
the construction was not necessary, it makes no sense that the in-laws would have
paid the bill.
Although many fans have wondered how the couple could afford a house, it seems that Duggar has managed to erase most of the negative comments. "… it's documented [Duggar and Dillard] do not work and we are a student, and since then they were not paid on their show. It's only natural to be curious about this when it is broadcast in all media, "wrote a user explaining how the couple could pay for something so expensive. This seems to be the only negative comment that Duggar kept on his post.
The couple has been accused of having cheated fans in the past
Duggar and Dillard have been criticized in the past
their finances because Fans
have suggested to the two people scammed for money. A few years ago, Duggar
and Dillard have asked for money for their charitable and missionary trips, but
the charity folded, the money disappeared. In addition, fans thought that he was badly behaved
the couple to ask donations to their fans at all; however, it is
What many celebrities do for a cause they care about. When it comes to
finances, Duggar and Dillard do not seem to win with the Counting on supporters.
