The younger daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, Soundarya Rajinikanth, is ready to marry the actor and businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi. The duo will seal the deal on February 11 in Chennai.

According to India Today, Rajinikanth's wife, Rajinikanth Latha, has addressed the Tamil Nadu Police Department and has written a letter to protect her daughter's wedding ceremony as well as the receptions that will continue. Latha reportedly asked for police protection because the ceremony could cause public nuisance due to traffic jams.

Soundarya She was engaged to Vishagan at an intimate ceremony last year in the presence of her close friends and family. This will be Soundarya's second wedding. She was earlier married to Ashwin Ramkumar, but the couple split up in 2016 due to "irreconcilable differences". She is a devoted mother of her daughter Ved Krishna, six years old.

In the meantime, the duo's wedding will be held in Chennai and the pre-wedding ceremonies will be held from 10 February.

On the professional front, Vishagan made his debut at Manoj Beedha Vanjagar Ulagam and was part of a few other films. Vishagan also runs a pharmaceutical company.

Soundarya, meanwhile, made her debut as a director with India's first motion capture technology film. Kochadaiiyaan, featuring his father Rajinikanth and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. Soundarya went from graphic direction to graphic design and worked in films such as Sandakozhi, Sivakasi, Sivaji, and Chandramukhi.
