Ryan Tubridy paid tribute to Laura Brennan on the Late show last night, asking people to remember their dignity and bravery.
The 26-year-old HPV vaccination activist died earlier this week after a two-year battle with cervical cancer.
Until her death, Laura remained dedicated and determined in her advocacy for immunization. She has made numerous appearances on television and radio, urging parents to use the HPV vaccine, whose use has increased dramatically through her work.
Tubridy took a few moments over last night Late show remember Laura and her legacy.
"Before going any further tonight, I want to remember one of the most outstanding young women I've ever had the chance to meet," he said. "I think you know who I'm talking to when I talk to you about Laura Brennan."

Tubridy said that he had interviewed Laura a few times about his campaign and that every time he met her, he was blown away by his courage.

"It was amazing to see how she had faced something really difficult and treated her with dignity and bravery," he said. "What I had never seen before."
"And I think the audience and the viewers who are at home have taken Laura to our collective hearts … And as you know, Laura pbaded away this week.
"We are thinking about her family tonight, her friends, and her heritage, she was really one of those people and I hope and believe her legacy will continue for many years to come."
