Dillian Whyte revealed he was "upset" by the defeat suffered by Anthony Joshua against Andy Ruiz Jr., who wanted to be the first to defeat his heavyweight rival.

Joshua suffered the initial loss of his professional career after being fielded four times by outsider Ruiz before referee Mike Griffin put an end to the seventh-round battle at Madison Square Garden.

The 29-year-old Briton was forced to deliver his WBA (Super), WBO, IBO and IBF belts to the American-American. Information suggests that he was also eliminated before the fight.

Whyte, who was the first to really test Joshua during their brutal confrontation in 2015, believes his rival is still vulnerable to punches on his right side.

"He does not see the left hook coming, it's open on the left hook.

"I hurt him with that and Andy Ruiz did the same. It does not block punches on the right side.
