Michael Okyere Baafi, CEO, Ghana Free Zone Authority
The CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Michael Okyere Baafi, has become, as a result of his remarkable and remarkable performance at work, the best CEO of the year. 2018.

Mr. Michael Okyere Baafi is a Certified Marketing Officer and holds four Master's degrees in various fields of study. Prior to being appointed Executive Secretary of the Free Zones Authority of Ghana, Mr. Michael Okyere Baafi held various management positions for more than ten years. Most recently, he was responsible for marketing at Phoenix Insurance Company.
He has been an adjunct lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and at the Accra Technical University.
Ghanaians, including students, small traders, journalists, MPs, civil society organizations, traditional leaders, business leaders and others, were the focus of the survey.
Michael Okyere Baafi has indeed outperformed expectations.
Its excellent performance is clearly evident in the country's increased export performance in less than two years.
Under his enlightened leadership, companies operating under the Free Trade Zone of Ghana exported goods valued at US $ 1.04 billion in the first nine months of last year, against total imports. $ 113.1 million for the same period.
In addition, 11,948 Ghanaians, including 4,452 women, were employed by Free Zone companies during the period.
