As a writer, in the current political atmosphere in Ghana, you have to be careful, but it seems that some authors have the sole purpose of creating trouble or causing political problems between the two main political rivals, the NDC and NPP.
Some writers really want to see a fight or bloodbath between the two political rivals in Ghana, but that will not happen.
I clearly understand Ghanaians if I relate their situation to the biblical history of enslaved Israelites in Egypt. Tired of the NDC government's constant decision, they want a change; therefore, they turn to Nana Akufo Addo for this salute.
Unfortunately, the situation is still difficult in Ghana, which people need to understand because of the short period during which the leader is in power. Nana Addo could have been one of the best Ghanaian rulers, but he was serious about some issues and left others in a very bad state.
For example, I have said time and time again that Ghanaian justice has nothing to offer to a common Ghanaian. They speak in favor of the elites. Therefore, the elites do not go to prison in Ghana. It is also the corruption that affects a country more than anything else.
Like former Ghanaian leader John Mahama, Nana Akufo Addo also made many mistakes in no time. He became president of Ghana. We must be sincere. It's not because Nana Addo has been in power period, everything that's done is perfect.
However, one of the hypocritical factors about many Ghanaians is that they hate telling the truth and when someone else says so, this one instantly becomes an enemy. How can a writer ever strike the NDC without seeing or observing the political mistakes of the NPP? It does not even make us a good writer.
What do you do in life by always attacking a political party each time? Do you want a fight between the NPP and the NDC? If that is the reason, it will not happen. And for those Ghanaians who often ask, "What do you know about Ghana when you live in Europe?"
I must tell them that there are Ghanaians, even whites in Europe and America, who know everything about Ghana that a real Ghanaian born in Africa because they read and badyze the situation in Africa more than what Ghanaians do.
Living in a foreign country does not mean that he does not know what is happening in his country. Many insult Ghanaians living abroad, but they forget that the thousands of foreign currencies sent home also help the Ghanaian economy.
It's exactly a year since I joined ModernGhana News, so far I have not mentioned to many contributors the meaning of their articles for me, Ghana and Africa in general.
Writing to attack a specific political party even shows the hate inscribed in the brain of the writer. Therefore, how would smart readers enjoy reading such articles?
Indeed, the truth is more bitter than bile, but we must not lose sight of it because in the end, what you write will reveal the kind of person you are.
The medical crimes committed by the American government in Africa, many do not see it as a threat, this is what I write on and I will continue until the day I die.
Regarding the NDC or the NPP, I do not welcome any of them who will govern Ghana, but they must always remember this: the poor mbades first.
