Angry people blocked Friday Dawenya-Afienya road to protest the poor character of this pbadage.
The development caused heavy traffic jams on a busy road, causing commuters a lot of commute to work.
Angry residents burn car tires on the main road, preventing vehicles from moving.
Police had to fire tear gas to disperse protesters, according to Graphic Online. The people of Dawhenya, in the Ningo Prampram district of Greater Accra Region, complained about the poor nature of the road from Dawhenya to Afienya, which was reportedly neglected by successive governments.
The road is easy to connect from Dawhenya to Akosombo Road, but is in poor condition.
Affected people use social media to record their dissatisfaction.
