The Disney + video streaming platform has grown rapidly since its launch – that’s no surprise given the substantial investments that have gone into it. However, it has apparently exceeded its own expectations – its initially stated official target was to reach 90 million subscribers by 2024, but the service has already passed 95 million.
Disney + ‘s new target is now 230-260 million users and, which would see it competing closely with Netflix, which now has 200 million subscribers. Interestingly, as of December, the service had 86.8 million paid subscribers, meaning it gained around 9 million new users in about a month.
