The writers of DC's new movie New Gods seem to be teasing the inclusion of the iconic DC supervillain, Darkseid. In a post on Twitter, The co-author of New Gods, Tom King, posed with his fellow author and director, New Gods, Ava DuVernay, while wearing a shirt "Darkseid Is". The message simply says "Ava is," making two references to the concept of "Darkseid is," which King spoke to IGN in a recent interview.

Darkseid is certainly the best known of the new gods, so does that mean that the awesome new god will cease to be a distant threat and end up honoring the big screen in the next DC movie? Until now, the people involved have remained silent, so we will have to wait to find out.
