21, GNA – The Most Reverend Christopher Nyarko Andam, Bishop of Kumasi
Diocese of the Methodist Church of Ghana (GCM), said that it was imperative that
the citizens have lived and kept to the truth at all times.

"We must
to be committed to upholding the truth regardless of the circumstances in which we

Rt. Rev. Andam, who was delivering the sermon
during an Easter Sunday service at Adum Wesley Cathedral of the CWM, Kumasi,
said that it was necessary to preserve the integrity of society and stressed that

that any nation that compromised honesty in its enterprises was bound to
fail.

The program
was designed to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the founder of
Christianity, and the occasion saw the congregation pray for the forgiveness of
the nation, the prosperity and the well-being of the people.

Most Reverend Andam
asked people to flee the vindictive and enmity, urging everyone to
work for the unity of the nation.

The citizens
should show patriotism in the performance of their duties
socio-economic development.
