People tell and share their problems with their close friends, family or even a counselor when they feel depressed about something.
There is a generally accepted belief that favors the sharing of your problems because your solutions could be considered.
But Empress Gifty Adorye, a gospel musician, urged married couples to solve their own problems rather than open to outsiders.
According to her, sharing her problems with a friend or family member is like digging her own grave.
She explained that "the more you run to people, the more mistakes you make."
Ms. Adorye thinks that the best way to solve marital problems is to have a deeper communication with your spouse.
"Running to pastors, mothers and spiritual fathers will only deepen your woes," she added.
She told OPD, Adom FM's Work and Happiness show, "The more you talk to people, the more mistakes you make. Talk to your spouse first. If you want to separate, it should not be a fight or a yoke on your life.
"If you have a problem, do not go to your pastor, your spiritual mother, or your fathers. The people you talk to even want what you have. You must run to God, "she advised.
