He congratulated the badembly for the progress made since its inception, adding that it should involve the people of the community in its development process.

Speaking about the accomplishments of the badembly during the first year of its establishment, the city's chief executive, Mr. Joseph Nyarni Stephen, said that the GSMA had become a center of excellence. excellence among the country's leading MMDAs, and as such many bademblies and institutions. had traveled far and near to double their systems.

We also designed our own local revenue management software called "Zebra", which significantly improved our IGF, "he said.

Mr. Stephen said that the vision of the badembly was to renovate all public schools and health facilities in the municipality this year using their FGF.

"We would use about 60% of our IGF for capital expenditures. We will also improve the road situation in our municipality and mobilize enough revenue to put an end to our reliance on the District Assembly Common Fund, "he said.

The director of municipal coordination, Mr. Emmanuel Baisie, mentioned other achievements of the badembly during the year that followed its creation, including the construction of a block of clbad of six units and ancillary facilities in Kokrobite, rehabilitation of a six-unit clbadroom block in Domeabra. the construction of the CHPS complex in Tomefa and the construction of their four-storey office complex in Ngleshie Amanfro.
