AGYINASARE J Bishop Charles Agyinasare

Christians must not use working hours to study their Bible, warned Bishop Charles Agyinasare.

The bishop president of Perez Chapel International urged Christians to use instead their break time or their hours spent outside the work period to study the Holy Scriptures.

He told his congregation at Perez Dome, Dzorwulu on Sunday, June 2, 2019: "Your work must give glory to God, so you must be happy to go to work. And if you work, work as for the Lord.

"If it's like the Lord, then when you go to the office, you're not going to put your feet on the table and make cutters in the office."

"Mr. Christian, Sister Christian, you will not use office hours to study your Bible. If you want to study, study it before office hours and during recess, because you work as for the Lord, "preached the founder of Perez Chapel.

In 2017, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made a similar call and asked workers to avoid the habit of using working hours for prayer sessions.

Speaking at the International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Commerce and Technology of May 29, 2017, he said: "The good book says," There is a time and a place for everything ". We can not and must not continue to hide behind religiosity to engage in the practice that characterizes our attitude towards work, "he said.
