The former secretary of Brexit confirmed that he was running for the leadership of the Conservative government and that he was ready to leave the EU to the rules of the WTO. Appearing on the show The Andrew Marr of BBC One, he says he wants to renegotiate the backstop or leave without agreement in October. He added that if he were elected to head the party, he would listen to Nigel Farage and refuse to exclude an electoral pact with the Brexit party.
