Dominic West has reportedly promised his wife that he would never have contact or work with Lily James after their marriage was threatened following the posting of photos online.
The 51-year-old actor was pictured arguing with actress Lily, 32, on a secret trip to Rome together.
Wire star Dominic had to apologize to his wife Catherine FitzGerald, 49, as the outrageous photographs nearly ended their marriage.
MailOnline reported that Dominic and Catherine spent time together on Lamu Island, Kenya, with the couple apparently agreed to a “ peace deal ” that will allow them to put the last few months behind them.
Catherine has reportedly banned Dominic from ‘seeing, talking to working with’ the Downton Abbey star, if they want to move on.

There has even been talk of the Wests renewing their wedding vows in an attempt to show a united front in their ten-year marriage.
A friend of the couple told the Mail on Sunday: “The idea of remarrying has been raised.
“Nothing has been decided, nor has yet been, but Catherine brought up the idea and it was the subject of much discussion. It shows how far we’ve come since these photographs.”
Dominic and Lily will soon see our screens together as they star in the BBC adaptation of Nancy Mitford’s novel, The Pursuit Of Love, but the couple are not believed to be doing any promotional work together for the upcoming series. .
This will fit in with his vow to his wife after Dominic has agreed to “never see, talk or work with Lily again”.

The BBC series is expected to replace Line of Duty in the 9 p.m. slot on a Sunday night, when the current series is over.
It has been reported that Auntie Beeb’s bosses have caved in to Dominic’s demand for Lily, with co-stars Andrew Scott and Freddie Fox expected to do much of the promotional work.
A friend of Dominic and Catherine said that it was “hard” for her to do the publicity before and that “now it feels like round two” as the series gets closer to airing.
