Donald Jr. and Eric have enjoyed hosting longtime friends lost in the small Irish village of Doonbeg, County Clare, home to the Trump International Golf Resort and Hotel.

"It's always a pleasure to come back here," Donald Jr. said in one of three pubs he and his brother visited during their Wednesday night pub tour. "I like to see all the support coming in today, it's amazing."

A woman standing next to him told Eric that the local priest wished him good luck. "Oh, that's a great guy," Eric replied, "are you going to tell him I'm saying hello?"

Even those who do not work directly in the hotel understand its benefits. The village's pubs, shops and restaurants depend on the commercial activities brought by the complex. The Evens Golf Course offers a daily shuttle to guests wishing to experience village life outside the luxury resort.

They were then introduced behind the bar, pouring pints under the applause. The pub owner, Hugh McNally, says he's a distant cousin to Vice President Mike Pence.

The trumps have a tab here. The bill is sent to the resort at the end of the night.

Rumors that the two men could move to the pub had swirled around the village for a while. When they finally arrived, a few hours after the date originally planned by locals, the pub guests were ready. Some wore red MAGA hats. Others had American flags on hand.

Many residents of the city have already met the trumps, but their visits are becoming increasingly rare since Trump Sr.'s move to the White House.

Security has also become a little more complex. When the media started invading the pub, the Trump brothers were led out of the back door of the kitchen to join their black SUV.
