TThe royal visit of the Duke and Duchess of Susbad to Morocco will continue despite the violent demonstrations that took place in the capital this week, with a free program to walk around and keep them safe from danger.
The couple will spend two days in the country on their last tour before the arrival of the baby Susbad, going to the Atlas Mountains and fighting in houses, hotels and walled gardens.
The safety of the couple, including the seven month pregnant Duchess, has become a priority. The plans were evaluated following protests in Rabat on Wednesday in which teachers' unions marched near the royal palace.
The Association Press reported that police beat several demonstrators on the ground, injuring several teachers and using water cannons.
Coincidentally, the first full day of engagement of the duke and duchess will focus on education, taking them from Rabat to the Atlas Mountains to discover the work of the charity Education For All.
