After fifteen years of vaporware limbo, Duc Nukem forever finally hit the consoles earlier this month at an almost universal critical drubbing. If you were worried that Mac players would miss out on one of the most overlooked games of the year, do not worry: Duke's is coming to Mac!
Aspyr announced on his blog that Duc Nukem forever will make his way to the Mac in August in the wake of the clbadic Duc Nukem 3D – released for the first time in 1996. The game will be available via Steam and its price, that of the PC version, will be $ 50, with a 10% discount for pre-orders:

So that's what we expected, it seems: a tedious and unattractive science fiction shooter that would quickly fall into the bag of bargains if it was not called Duke Nukem Forever. Duke may be an icon, but he's just following the gestures of this collection of badly paced levels, which makes it all imaginable: they make Duke boring.
Fans of the clbadic Duc Nukem the games are guaranteed disappointment, so if you want to preserve your love for Duke, do yourself a favor and replay one of the clbadics. For the more curious, expect to see Duc Nukem forever hit the store shelves in August.
