Dwamena Akenten Alumni in Diaspora donates to Alma Mater

The former student badociation of Dwamena High School Akenten, United States of America, donated a water storage facility with a capacity of 2 500 liters to his Alma Mater.

Mr. Duodu-Antwi Anthony Bosiako and some former resident students; Mr. Atta Wife and Mr. Appiah Osei were present at the school to deliver the premises to the school.

"This project is sponsored by the former student badociation of the United States of America to help the school address some of its key challenges. This is a step to remedy the lack of water in the school, "said Mr. Duodu-Antwi Anthony Bosiaku in his speech.

He also invited students to work hard and badured them of future support from alumni.

Mrs. Margaret Appiah, hostess of Dwamena High School Akenten, received the donation on behalf of the school.

She expressed a lot of gratitude and explained how the school will help the school.

"The unavailability of water has been a major challenge for the school that has affected the academic work and performance of the students. I am very grateful to the alumni for their response when I called them to help the school, "she said in her speech.

The principal asks other alumni to come to their aid because the school badly needs toilets and other facilities.
