He had been feared dead after being sent on a wacky job in Spain by his boss Phil Mitchell.
But Keanu Mitchell is about to make an explosive comeback to EastEnders and is joined by newcomer Danny Hardcastle.
In scenes that have not yet aired on the BBC soap opera, the villain Danny will thank Keanu for the job well done. The young mechanic is kissing on the head while Phil watches nervously.

Another image of the drama shows Danny shaking Keanu's hand, with Phil and him, clearly worried about the situation.
Keanu, played by Danny Walters, has been away from Walford for weeks after Phil (Steve McFadden) sent her to work in Spain at Sharon Mitchell's request.
But while Sharon wanted to stand out from her former toyboy lover, she was devastated after Phil received a severely beaten photo of Keanu.
With Sharon, ex-Louise de Keanu and her mother Karen Taylor worried for her safety, Phil was sent to Spain to take him home.

However, Phil recently returned without Keanu, baduring himself that he was well and planning to stay in the country.
But with the teenager ready to return to the screens, fans will have to wait to find out what he was doing in Spain and what is his relationship with Danny.
Meanwhile, Danny, played by former Brookside star Paul Usher, is expected to trouble him when he arrives at Albert Square, the character apparently having an unfinished relationship with Phil.
The hard man's business in Walford is still unknown, but it had already been revealed that he was on the spot to ask for help to find something important – with Phil and Keanu likely to be involved.
The dangerous situation will also be related to the return of Phil's son, Ben Mitchell, after the reworking of the character with the new actor Max Bowden.
Previous images of the teaser showed the characters together at a secret meeting in a cafe, with Ben looking particularly sneaky.
But what are they doing? And what is their relationship with newcomer Danny?
EastEnders continues Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
