PITTSBURG, KS. – Many Pittsburgh kiddos invaded the city's Lincoln Park on Saturday for Pittsburgh's 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Officials estimate that between 500 and 700 people participated in the Easter egg hunt festivities. And that 's a good thing because there were over 10,000 hidden plastic eggs, as well as other prizes like gift cards.
The organizers took over three weeks to fill these eggs and an hour and a half to hide them, but they said the effort was worth it.
"It's a community commitment and it's a really impressive event that the community can participate in," said Sara Vacca of Pittsburgh Parks and Recreation.
The Easter Bunny also appeared and took pictures with the children.
