said Tuesday evening that he was considering selling his South Korean business in a bid to reduce holdings. In a statement, the company said it “has initiated a process to explore, review and assess a range of strategic alternatives for its business in Korea.” The company said it does not plan to make any further announcements on the review until the board approves an action plan that requires disclosure. Sales in South Korea represent 11.3% of eBay’s revenue, according to FactSet data. In July, eBay sold its classifieds business to Adevinta for $ 9.2 billion and finalized its $ 4.1 billion sale of StubHub in February. EBay shares were down 0.2% after-hours, after rising 2.8% to close the regular session at $ 56.98.
