Wendy Addo, a Ghanaian singer from Afropop and Afrobeat, known in the entertainment industry as Wendy Shay, said she was not afraid to follow in the footsteps from the reign of the end of ebony.
According to the musician, the title Ebony Reigns is a legend and people do not compare it with the latest dancehall musician.
"Ebony did a very good thing when she was alive, so I do not see anything wrong with me watching her not do mine because she is a legend
That's good and when people compare me to Ebony, it's good, I wish we would let her rest after a while, "she said.
Wendy Shay also reiterated that she was under the same label as the late Ebony and that she was pursuing her good works.
"You know, we were in the same label, we had the same songwriter and I just want to say that she did a really good job, so continue what she started is ok, but I do not copy her style, "she added.
Currently, Wendy Shay can be described as one of the hottest and most dynamic musicians and has said she deserves the title of "New Artist of the Year" at the Ghana Music Awards.
