Eddie Nketiah, striker born in Ghana
Eddie Nketiah, from Ghana, said he was happy to score a brace while Arsenal U-23 defeated Chelsea U-23 on Monday night.
Nketiah's attack and Carl Carl Jenkinson's strike allowed Arsenal U-23 to extend its run of losses to eight games with a 3-1 win over rivals London.
"Strong 3-1 win over Chelsea today, it's good to contribute with 2 goals and a pbad," he posted on Twitter.
The 19-year-old opened the scoring eight minutes into the match with a low shot at the edge of the box.
The Gunners continued to push for a second and soon after, the Ghanaian cut from the right to crush his second of the day.
Chelsea then came out of his shelves in search of consolation, but this time, Nketiah did not score, but became the provider of Jenkinson's goal.
After the break, Chelsea scored a goal back by Daishawn Redan with seven minutes left.
Nketiah's performance saw him knocking on the doors of the first time under the careful observation of Unai Emery.
