Eden Hazard is almost certain to start at Anfield on Sunday after the Chelsea star has rested on Maurizio Sarri for their Europa League clash against Slavia Prague.
Londoners are in Prague for their quarterfinal match of the Europa League Thursday night and Sarri gave a huge clue on his priorities after seven changes.
The Belgian winger Hazard has often been a thorn in the Reds over the years and has already scored twice against the team of Jurgen Klopp, who seeks the title.
Hazard came on the bench to score the winning goal that eliminated Liverpool from the Carabao Cup in September before scoring 1-1 for Stamford Bridge in a 1-1 draw later in the same week .
And it now looks set to begin Sunday afternoon, when the Blues will head to Anfield in the hope of derailing Klopp's title and helping their own top-four list.
Sarri suggested that Hazard might miss the match in Prague before Sunday's Premier League match at his pre-match press conference.
"We do not know if Hazard will play because yesterday he had only been following the recovery training at the gym, so I did not see him," Sarri said. "This morning, he was tired and so I want to wait until tomorrow morning and I will decide.
"Slavia played Saturday but we played Monday, I do not know why, we have to change five or six players, of course we have to play Liverpool three days later."
That means Liverpool can look forward to seeing a Chelsea team practically on Sunday after Sarri named David Luiz, Golo Kante and Gonzalo Higuain alongside Hazard on the bench.
