Eden Hazard makes fun of Thibaut Courtois for the mistake of Belgium

Eden Hazard is mocked by his Belgian teammate, Thibaut Courtois, after his howl during his victory in the Euro 2020 qualifier against Russia.

The Real Madrid goalkeeper caught the ball in his own box, giving Denis Cheryshev an easy finish to allow Russia to tie the game from the start.

The Belgians mobilized to save their redness and to win 3-1 after a doubling of Hazard.

The Chelsea striker was clearly delighted after his winning match – but he could not help searching his former Blues Courtois teammate.

He joked that the goalkeeper was trying to copy his dribbling skills while he was committing the mistake, but his size was bothering him.

Hazard could not resist a search at his former teammate in Chelsea

"Thibaut Courtois watches a lot of videos of my actions and then he tries to copy me," said Hazard.

"The problem is that it's much bigger than me, so it's not that easy."

Courtois, meanwhile, admitted that his mistake was not new.

He remembered a similar mistake during his stint in the Premier League with Chelsea against Hull in 2015 in a match that the Blues had won 3-2.

Courtois recently had a hard time at Real Madrid

"I made a similar mistake while playing for Chelsea."

The mistake came at a bad time for Courtois, who was hoping to regain his form for international duty after a difficult race for Real Madrid.

Since Zinedine Zidane's return to the position of administrator, Keylor Navas has been reinstated in the front row, with Courtois facing a battle to return to his starting position.
