Eden Hazard responds to the invader after being approached at the final whistle in Malmo

Chelsea's Eden Hazard downplayed the troubling post-match scene that had seen him docked by a pitch invader after the Blues' 2-1 win over Malmo.

The Belgian international, Hazard, was stormed by the pitch invader immediately after the final whistle and was only released when four commissioners finally enjoyed taking the guilty.

Hazard has handed over his jersey but UEFA is about to investigate the incident in the midst of serious security concerns.

The fan, one of at least four of the stands that encroached on the playing area, was escorted by stewards, holding the shirt.

Hazard, 28, seemed disturbed by the incident, but subsequently downplayed the situation.

"This is not an incident," Hazard said. "He just asked for my shirt."

Hazard replaced Maurizio Sarri's men in the second half after their 2-1 win against the Manchester City weekend.

Ross Barkley and Olivier Giroud scored goals for the Blues, but Anders Christiansen scored 10 minutes from time to keep the Swedes tied.

However, this concession left Sarri furious, his long-term future still uncertain.

The 60-year-old Italian said: "If we concede a goal like this to a team like Manchester City, United or Tottenham, you risk scoring three goals in 10 minutes, so we have to do better, I think.

"I think we need continuity and consistency in the mental state to be able to approach every game with the same level of application, determination and attention.

"You know very well that in England, in 10 days, you risk losing three or four very important games.

"So we need consistency, we have to tackle every game the same way, it's not easy, but we have to try."
