Eden Hazard, Willian and David Luiz are the problems of Chelsea and not Maurizio Sarri – Stan Collymore

Let's be clear: Maurizio Sarri is not the problem in Chelsea.

The problem lies in Eden Hazard, David Luiz, Willian, Pedro and Co. – all those players who are far from being as good as they want you to believe.

Jose Mourinho knew that was the case during his second stint at Stamford Bridge and Antonio Conte also quickly understood it.

Sarri may have realized more quickly than these two, given the speed with which he began to question the group's mentality and tell the world how difficult it was to motivate.

The hammering 6-0 by Manchester City Sunday was an aberration and obviously raised questions about the future of the Italian.

But while the club is trying to determine the direction in which it should go, Sarri's dismissal should not be considered.

If they got rid of him, they would deserve everything that happened to them in the next few years.

What the Blues hierarchy should be saying is that Sarri has his support and they will help him build the workforce he wants over the next two years.

They should then put an embargo on the young people leaving the club and make sure that their academy is the foundation of all club activities.

If they have any idea, they will ask credit manager Eddie Newton to give them the names of the 10 most promising youngsters because with Callum Hudson-Odoi they would have almost half of a very good team .

I would mix them with N'Golo Kante, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta, all of whom deserve to stay, as well as Gonzalo Higuain, if he wishes.

But beyond these five years, I can not think of anyone that I want to keep, which is a damning act of accusation for others.

Chelsea will not win the Premier League or the Champions League with her team for the next five years, but she could still qualify for Europe and be the best of the others ahead of Everton and Wolves with their youngsters.

So why not start rebuilding this way by giving Sarri two or three transfer windows to bring in more established players.

It would put them in a much stronger position than they are now.

Chelsea's problem is that it's not 2004 anymore and they can not spend more than everybody else.

So, they have to start thinking differently, and to fund those thoughts, I'll drop any club that wants to give me something between 100 million and 150 million pounds for Hazard.

When Chelsea arrives, the Belgian is world clbad, but when they are knocked down, he disappears.

This is not the case for the very great players and they do not finish either in the 10th rank of the league and are not beaten 4-0 by Bournemouth.

Chelsea's hardcore fans did not hesitate to say that Hazard was part of the problem, but none of them who watched Sunday's game would disagree with me now.

It's time to start again at Chelsea, but that does not mean another managerial change.
