Accompanied by his wife Helen, Mark said, "I expect this peaceful trend that characterizes my home and neighborhood to be repeated in all parts of the country. For me, the election should be a game that must produce a winner or a loser. We do not need to lose our head because of the elections.

Senator Mark urged security officials and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to carry out their duties in a credible manner without fear or favor, stating that the interest of Nigeria should be primordial at all times.
