The former Senate Speaker, Senator David Mark, said that a peaceful election is possible in Nigeria if politicians and authorities respect the rules of the game, recommending that Nigerians not lose their heads in front of them. the elections.
Mark, who spoke Saturday, shortly after voting in Otukpo, said in District 1 of Benue State: "The peaceful exercises conducted so far in the state are rebaduring on the fact that elections can be held in the "order" in Nigeria. "
Accompanied by his wife Helen, Mark said, "I expect this peaceful trend that characterizes my home and neighborhood to be repeated in all parts of the country. For me, the election should be a game that must produce a winner or a loser. We do not need to lose our head because of the elections.
Senator Mark urged security officials and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to carry out their duties in a credible manner without fear or favor, stating that the interest of Nigeria should be primordial at all times.

He noted that politics was a noble job to serve people and not to do otherwise.
