Elections in Nigeria: Atiku Abubakar says his age is not a problem

Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria's presidential candidate next month, told Mayeni Jones of the BBC that he hoped the polls would be free and fair.

The 72-year-old vice-president from 1999 to 2007 said his age should not be considered in the race.

A number of presidential candidates on February 16, including his main rival, incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
