Elizabeth Warren accepted her proposal to dismantle Big Tech in her garden.
The Democratic presidential candidate installed a striking billboard in San Francisco Wednesday, before her visit to the city this weekend. As reported by The Verge, the billboard is located on the 4th and Townsend, wedged between the SOMA and Mission Bay neighborhoods of the city, a short distance from the heavily trafficked Caltrain, Lyft HQ and Oracle Park where the San Francisco Giants play.
If there is a disadvantage to the display panel, it is that it does not have the most important location, it stays underneath. another billboard located along the building. Of course, if the prices of billboards are similar to those of real estate SF, it's understandable.
Warren's latest volley is his most direct attack on Big Tech, hitting them where they live with his dismemberment message from three of the largest tech companies, two of which (Facebook and Google) have made Silicon Valley their home.
Facebook, Amazon and Google have tremendous power over our economy and our democracy. They dominated the bulldozer competition and tipped the scales in their favor. It is time to dissolve these companies so that they do not exercise as much power over others. #BreakUpBigTech https://t.co/2rWT0wJ8vD

In March, Warren announced that his goal of dismantling these tech giants was an important focus of his 2020 campaign in a mid-size position (with a Binger Zinger).
Today's big tech companies have too much power – too much power over our economy, our society, and our democracy. They used bulldozed competition, used our private information for profit, and set the ground against everyone. And in doing so, they hurt small businesses and slowed innovation.
I want a government that ensures that everyone – even the largest and most powerful companies in America – abides by the rules. And I want to make sure the next generation of big tech companies in America can flourish. To do this, we must prevent this generation of large technology companies from giving up their political power to shape the rules in their favor and their economic power to remove or buy all potential competitors.
It's a plan as detailed as any 2020 candidate has indicated up to here and Warren has continued to beat the breaking drum on the campaign trail.
A spokesman for the Warren campaign made this statement to Mashable:
"Today's big tech companies have too much power, they've destroyed the competition, used our private information for profit, and made the game play for everyone. have hurt small businesses and hindered innovation Elizabeth's plan would help ensure that technology giants do not crowd out potential competitors, do not stifle the next generation of big companies in the industry of technology and exercise such power that they can undermine our democracy. "
We have also contacted Amazon, Facebook and Google for comments on the billboard and will update any additional information.
