The company on Tuesday withdrew its test tunnel project in Sepulveda, which took place after several groups of residents sued the city of Los Angeles for its plan to remove the project from environmental badessments.
The tunnel would have operated from a Boring property located on Sepulveda Boulevard at Washington Boulevard in Culver City, reported ABC. The company had the idea of the project in 2017.
"The parties (The Boring Company, Brentwood Residents Coalition, Sunset Coalition and Wendy-Sue Rosen) have settled amicably the case of Brentwood Residents Coalition and Others v. City of Los Angeles (TBC – The Boring Company).
"The Boring Company is no longer trying to develop the Sepulveda test tunnel, but is looking to build an operational tunnel at the Dodger stadium."
The Dodger Stadium Tunnel – named Dugout Loop – would transport fans from the subway lines to the baseball stadium.
The journey of about three miles would take four minutes and cost $ 1, the company said.

Boring is also continuing its project to build its test tunnel, which is expected to run about two miles from a parking lot at SpaceX's headquarters in Hawthorne, its website said.
Musk told the podcast "Joe Rogan Experience" in September that The Boring Company "had started as a joke" and that the tunnel idea under Los Angeles was born out of "desperation".
