A few weeks ago, Elon Musk said the company was working on a new feature called Sentry Mode. As the name suggests, this feature would allow users to record a 360-degree video of their car whenever an alarm is triggered or when a serious incident is detected. This feature should allow Tesla owners to gather information more easily and possibly identify the culprits when a vehicle is vandalized, damaged or burglarized.
The latest news, Musk had announced the upcoming release of this feature, which in the language of Tesla does not inspire hope. Do not worry, Musk earlier in the day went on Twitter and revealed that Sentry mode was to be deployed next week.
The Musk tweet is visible below.
Sentinel mode (and dog mode) will be unveiled next week

If you're wondering naturally what's the dog mode, this feature is essentially a way for Tesla owners to alert pbadersby worried that a dog left in a Tesla vehicle is doing well . Although the final implementation remains to be seen, Musk on Twitter last October responded in the affirmative to the following suggestion:
Can you put a dog mode on the Tesla Model 3. Where the music is played and where the activator is activated, with an on-screen display saying "I'm fine, my owner will be back"?
Returning to Sentry mode, Musk had previously indicated that this feature would be available for all Tesla vehicles equipped with the company's autopilot equipment 2.
