Banksy appears to have supported a campaign to turn a former prison in the English city of Reading into an artistic venue, a city spokesperson said on Thursday, after the street artist confirmed the work by art that appeared on a red brick wall of the prison. was of his creation.

The campaign to turn the old prison into an artistic venue has won the support of actors such as Judi Dench, Stephen Fry and Kenneth Branagh.
