According to rumors, Arsenal would be shocked by Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.
The 29-year-old is out of contract in June and, according to the Daily Mail, the Gunners have joined the Ligue 1 leader, Paris Saint-Germain, in the race to secure his signature this summer.
It is understood that the negotiations started 18 months ago are in stalemate and that this allowed the PSG to open discussions with its representatives about a lucrative move to France.
The report says that the Red Devils are hopeful of reaching an agreement and that the Spaniard would prefer to stay in Manchester.
