The attacker, whose plane disappeared last week, was honored with a daffodil tribute when visiting his club at Arsenal on Tuesday.
Arsenal and Cardiff City paid tribute to the missing striker, Emiliano Sala, by distributing daffodils to the match schedule at the Emirates Stadium.
Guernsey police ended search and rescue operations for Sala, who was aboard a Piper Malibu plane with pilot David Ibbotson when the plane was reported missing Monday heading for the Welsh capital.
Sala became Cardiff's club record the previous weekend and the 28-year-old's family has since been able to boost research through a crowdfunding effort.

Tuesday's Premier League trip to Arsenal is Cardiff's first match since Sala's disappearance. Many Welsh club staff and supporters have worn yellow daffodils.

The flower will also be distributed at the same time as the official program of the day, in which Sala is part of the Cardiff team, with a narcissus where his number would have been.
Cardiff general manager Ken Choo explained the use of the daffodil on Friday, stressing its importance to Wales and Nantes.
"It's a yellow flower, the flower of Wales and it has a significance for Nantes," he said. "We are sensitive to FC Nantes, its supporters and players.
"They certainly know better Emiliano than us and it's harder for them right now."
