The 2019 edition of Ghana Meets Naija, the exciting musical concert that annually rules the score between Ghanaian and Nigerian music industries, has been duly launched at the events center of the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra.
The event set up by Empire Entertainment revealed the list of performing artists expected to rock the event, the box office, the date, the venue and many other details related to the concert.
According to the concert organizers, the event aims to promote unity and strengthen collaboration between Ghanaian and Nigerian industry players and to create an interactive atmosphere for music fans and their artists .
S addressing media at the launch, PR for Empire Entertainment, Laillah Crystal Banda said the program is expected to take place at the International Conference Center in Accra on June 8, 2019.
She added that "the concept and design of Ghana Meets Naija is to promote unity between the two countries through music".
Ghanaian artists expected to perform include; Patapaa, Medikal, R2bees, Kelvin Bwoy, Tulenkey, AK Songstress, Ras Kuuku, Opanka, Fameye, Narna, Kofi Mole and many others.
And artists representing Nigeria include: Teni, J. Derobie, Wande Coal, Victor AD, Saltan, Moziz and other groups.
This year marks the 9th edition of the program which began in 2011 under the theme "Clash of the Titans".
Last year's edition, called Rescue Mission, exceeded all expectations and became Ghana's largest and most exciting concert.
He has witnessed historical performances of stars such as Stonebwoy, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Patapaa, Fancy Gadam and many others. Nigeria was represented by Wizkid, Mayorkun, Mr. Eazi, among others.
However, this year's concert promises to surpbad the glory of all previous editions.
Over the years, the concert has hosted artists such as Wizkid, The Mavins (Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Olamide), Flavor, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and E.L.
