The third part of Money Heist was released on Netflix on July 19 with another series of hold-ups from the bank. The third part of the series called Casa de Papel in Spanish saw the gang come together for a new mission before the end of the series on a shocking cliffhanger. Here's a quick recap of what happened at the end of Money Heist and what it might mean for the fourth potential season.
What happened at the end of La Casa de Papel?

No hope for Tokyo and Rio
The third series of Money Heist started with Tokyo (played by Úrsula Corberó) and Rio (Miguel Herrán) relaxing together in paradise.
After the capture of Rio by the Panamanian authorities, Tokyo played a decisive role in reuniting the gang to bring him back home.
Finally, in the penultimate episode of the series, the police exchanged against Rio some of the hostages during the clash at the Bank of Spain.
However, Rio then breaks with Tokyo and we meet her in the final, drowning her sorrows.

In an emotional scene between the two, she said, "We had a lot of fun, we had good times, but it was not enough. We were excited about all this. "
When she reveals that she almost slept with Denver (Jaime Lorente), Rio is visibly upset.
Tokyo declares as the last nail of the coffin for their love story: "Now I wonder the same thing as you: how could we stay together so long?"
Later in the episode, Denver tries to convince her that she can move on before trying to kiss her.
Denver faces Rio and asks him to return with Tokyo until the flight is over, but Rio remains resolved.

Nairobi seems to be dead
Police negotiator Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) smuggled a phone hidden inside a teddy bear, which belonged to the nine-year-old son of Nairobi (Alba Flores), at the bank .
After Nairobi receives a call from Sierra, it becomes clear that she has her son with her, luring her to the window to prove it.
When she stands at the window, Nairobi is shot by a sniper.
Throughout the end of the episode, the team worked together to try to save Nairobi from bleeding.
However, the last one we see from Nairobi is his death apparently in the arms of Helsinki (Darko Peric).

The team can not escape
In the last episode of the series, the team tries to convince the police to escape from the Bank of Spain.
However, they are quickly discovered by police who design their own attack and send armored vehicles to break the door.
El Professor (Álvaro Morte) said in Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serna): "It's no longer a holdup, we're eliminating the system, it's a war."
The gang unites to blow cars with bazookas and remains locked in the bank of Spain.

Raquel is still alive
After their dramatic escape from the surveillance of the theft from outside the bank, Raquel (Itziar Ituño) and El Professor were sent to flee through the forest.
Raquel was found on a farm hidden by the police, before being abandoned by her owners.
When she is confronted with one of her former colleagues, Suarez (Mario de la Rosa), Raquel refuses to abandon the place where El Professor is and she is apparently shot.
However, what is revealed at the end of the episode is that Raquel is still alive.
Season three ends as she says, "This is the map Sierra has played to destroy us. And that's how the war started.
