Both units were equipped with 10 air conditioners belonging to Zylofon Media.
The Bureau of Economic and Organized Crime (EOCO) has arrested two people who allegedly illegally removed the properties of Zylofon Media, a subsidiary of gold collection collectible company, Menzgold Ghana Limited.
According to EOCO, the two suspects were arrested on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 while they were removing the properties.
They were allegedly taken with 10 air conditioners belonging to Zylofon Media.
It was after a high court in Accra ordered EOCO to secure all properties owned by Menzgold and all its subsidiaries.
It will be recalled that on January 29, 2019, EOCO issued a statement signed by its chief of public affairs, Jacqueline Avotri, announcing that he had been granted a court order to secure all the property of Menzgold and its subsidiaries, warning the public that it is a contempt for anyone who owns the properties.
However, Avotri told reporters in Accra that the suspects, despite the order of the Court, had decided to withdraw the property and that information led to their arrest.
She said: "This measure was aimed at enforcing the court order upholding the freezing of the properties of Menzgold Ghana Limited and other badociated companies, as stated in our press release of January 29, 2019."
EOCO's deputy executive director, Nana Antwi, told reporters that the identity of the suspects would be made public after an examination for discovery.
He said that about twenty cars and several properties have been secured until now.
