Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, recently spoke about the development around Ethereum 2.0, the last Ethereum stage, on a dedicated Reddit thread.
Yagan, a Redditor, said Vitalik Buterin had proven that he was "determined to progress as a person and as a leader", regardless of the FUD surrounding Ethereum in recent months. The Redditor said:
"Congratulations to Vitalik and his supporters. Congratulations to Ethereum and the community who can see the "biggest image". Congratulations on all you have accomplished Vitalik and thank you for being an inspiration to many. "
At that, another Redditor, whose user name is Dont_hate_scienceguy, responded that he would sell his coins the day that Buterin would leave the Ethereum ecosystem. He also added that he had "never had less confidence in the [Ethereum] team, which I do after this absurdity dothereum.
Dothereum is one of the new projects that has caught the attention of the Ethereum community. It's a project similar to Ethereum, but built on Polkadot. Some have speculated that Afri Schoedon, a former Ethereum developer, was part of this project.
This comment caught the attention of Buterin while he was responding to the user of Reddit stating that "the team" in question was "larger and wider" than "the other". he did not think so. He further stated that the developers of Prysmatic Labs, Lighthouse and all other teams did not delay the "eth2 progression" even by one day. He said,
"Even though I am frustrated by the antics of" talkative clbades, "it is important to keep in mind that Prysmatic, the lighthouse, the Eth2 research team, and so on. and annoying, did not delay the progress of eth2 by a single day. "
Buterin further stated that even the lease proposals of State Channel, Plasma, ZK roll-up and 1.x "were progressing steadily". He added that current 1.0 clients were also regularly upgraded to "better manage" the current channel load. He then said:
"[…] a huge victory a few months ago in the decline of uncle rates as well as constant improvements in the spread of blocks. When you bet on the Ethereum ecosystem, it is on those silent armies that you bet. "
