Several Ethiopian airlines lost their lives
The management of Ethiopian Airlines in Ghana congratulated the government and Ghanaians for the support they received during a difficult period.
Genet Michael, general manager of the airline in Ghana, said she appreciated the warmth and empathy elicited by the airline by the Ghanaians who have supported them over the years.
"I have felt the traditional Ghanaian hospitality and love a lot at this time of sorrow.I am very grateful to the good people of Ghana.

Ghana's President Nana Akuffo Addo was one of the first world leaders to send a message of condolence to the Ethiopians after the B737-8 Max crash on Sunday.
No Ghanaian has been involved in the fatal accident.
According to the head of the airline Ethiopian Airline, after the accident, all the B737-8 Max of their fleet were stranded until further notice.
Ethiopian Airlines has been operating in Ghana since 1960, serving the Ghanaian route with the B787 Dreamliner and now using the Airbus A350.
