EToro Analysts: Zcash leads confidentiality charges

[ad_1]

According to a research report released by eToro, Zcash (ZEC), number 22 in the market capitalization cryptocurrency, offers one of the highest privacy protection of any cryptographic badet. Zcash, which not only protects the identity of both parties to a transaction, but also secures the transaction history of a user, has a total market value of approximately $ 327 million.

The main feature of the ZEC token is that it offers its holders the option of privacy when deemed necessary. The token gives the user the freedom to carry out transparent transactions (so-called "t" transactions) or totally private transactions ("z" transactions). In addition, Zcash also provides users with the keys to their own transaction history. Only a Zcash user can decide if another person will have access to the history of his transactions.

The Zcash protocol may also have a regulatory favor on its part. Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, founders of the US Gemini exchange of cryptocurrency, claim that Zcash is the most likely to be approved by regulators among all the pieces in the private sphere.

One of the reasons Zcash has the potential for regulatory approval is that it does not fully identify itself as a confidentiality token. "Selective disclosure" is an important part of the Zcash philosophy; the token offers confidentiality to those who want it or in situations where its users feel that it is deserved, but also gives it the freedom to make certain transactions public.

Transaction fees on the Zcash network are also low, averaging around 0.0001 ZECs, or about US $ 0.005 at the current Zcash price of around US $ 53. Similar to Bitcoin, there is a finite amount of ZEC (about 21 million) and it works on a proof of work concept.

Only time will tell where are the adoption and market valuation of confidentiality tokens, but with the "selective disclosure" feature of Zcash, it can be one of the few pieces of confidentiality to have obtained regulatory approval.
