EU assesses the impact of slowing growth on the Italian 2019 budget: Dombrovskis

BUCHAREST (Reuters) – The European Commission is badessing the implications for Italy's budget needs of lower-than-expected economic growth this year, Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis said on Saturday.

He added that Italy's growth was causing concern as it could be lower than the Commission's forecast of 0.2% and much lower than the Italian government's forecast of 1%.
