October 4 (Reuters) – The European medicines regulator said on Monday that people with severely weakened immune systems could receive a third dose of COVID-19 vaccines made by Pfizer and Moderna at least 28 days after their second dose.
The long-awaited guidelines come after several EU member states launched their own booster campaigns, with a repeat injection about six months after an initial two-dose treatment, although countries have come to very different conclusions on the eligible people. Read more
