Friday's huge offer follows a series of successes for UK players in recent months.
Patrick and Frances Connolly of Moira, Co Down, collected nearly £ 115m in the Euro Million New Year's jackpot to become the fourth-largest lottery winner in the UK.
Andrew Clark, 51, of Boston, Lincolnshire, discovered in November that he had earned £ 76 million six weeks after the draw.

In July 2011, Colin and Chris Weir, from Ayrshire, became the biggest lottery winners in the UK and throughout Europe, winning more than £ 161 million.
