Everton's boss, Marco Silva, defends his behavior in Newcastle, which led to a charge by the FA

Marco Silva is still waiting for news from the AF after his response to the charge of "improper conduct" with which he was hit after his argument after the match with the officials in Newcastle last weekend.

Everton's manager battled Lee Mason and his officials after Newcastle scored a winning goal to recover a two-goal deficit, with FIVE players offside.

And the boss of the Blues repeated his problems with officials on duty in Tyneside.

"At the time, I was obviously not happy, first with ourselves and with some decisions," said Silva, "but I've never been aggressive, I I did not disrespect the officials and I did not utter abusive words.

"At that time, I was not happy with two decisions and I understood what I said to the referee and the two badistants.

"As managers, we all know that it's better to talk to the referees in the locker room, sometimes we go to shake their hands and sometimes talk to them.

"Of course, the referee is going to make mistakes, like our players too, but at that point, it was so clear.

"And not only in this situation." Fifteen minutes earlier, with the same badistant, there was an offside when the player was clearly offside.

"Sometimes we talk, sometimes no.

"I can remind you of what happened at Millwall in England Cup with the goal of handball and at that time I did not talk to the referee at the end of the match.

"It's something we do not always do.

"I have a lot of respect for them – I was not happy at that time, but I never fail to respect them – I have never been violent with them.

"The biggest frustration was with ourselves."
