The defeat of the Ligue 1 team was Everton's win – although the Blues have not yet been able to use it.
The work permit problems have meant that the striker has not made his debut in the Premier League, spending two loans to Merseyside instead of Anderlecht in 2017/18 and now Galatasaray.
However, Onyekuru still has his eyes riveted on the Premier League and reiterated that the main purpose of his loan was to push him closer to realizing this dream.
