According to what was learned by CalcioMercato.com, AC Milan has reopened negotiations with Dalian Yifang regarding the signing of Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco. Carrasco signed a contract with Dalian about a year ago at Atletico Madrid but is already considering a return to Europe.
The current badumption is that Carrasco could actually join Milan with a six-month loan – after Inter Milan withdrew from negotiations after Antonio Candreva rejected a proposal that would see him move to China as part of a Carrasco's signature contract. In the next 24 hours, Milan and Yifang will work together to agree on fees for the transaction – and on any potential redemption clause under a prospective loan agreement.
Arsenal is also still interested in Carrasco, also on alert because of Yifang 's willingness to let him go with a 6 – month loan, with an option or a purchase obligation during the summer. This is good for Arsenal and Milan because both clubs may not comply with fair play financial regulations if they make a permanent purchase in January.
